| Data Summary | Satellite monitoring of Antarctic weather and climate is a long-running research project of Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE) since 1997. The data have been received at Syowa Station and archived at Narional Institute of Polar Research (NIPR). The satellites have been NOAA, Metop, Terra, Aqua, NPP, JPSS. This database distributes so-called Quick-Look (QL) images derived from AVHRR and MODIS for all passes received at Syowa Station.
