Title | Geomagnetic Observation at Syowa Station |
Sub-Title | |
Data Summary | At Syowa Station, three kinds of geomagnetic observations are carried out: (1) Absolute observation with a fluxgate theodolite and a proton magnetometer, every month; (2) Continuous magnetic variation observation with a 3-axis fluxgate magnetometer; (3) K-index creation based on the magnetic variation observation. One second data of the magnetic variation are transferred to NIPR every day, and the absolute observation result and the K-index list are sent by E-mail every month. |
