Data Summary | The EISCAT radars enable us to obtain plasma parameters such as electron density and ion/electron temperatures between about 90 and 1000 km altitude above Northern Scandinavia and Svalbard. Subjects of research are Ionosphere-neutral atmosphere coupling, Magnetosphere-Ionosphere coupling, and solar wind acceleration, etc. EISCAT observations are divided into Common Program (CP), Special Program (SP), and Peer review Program (PP). |
