Title | Ozone sonde observation |
Sub-Title | Ozone sonde observation data |
Data Summary | The syowa base (SYO) ozone sonde observation is started in 1966. It provides the meteorological data (pressure, temperature, wind and ozone partial pressure) of the upper-air to about 35km from the surface. Observation data is reported to the World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre. In addition, quality control of data is performed after return to Japan and data is released by means of Antarctic Meteorological Data (CD-ROM) within one year. |
