Data Summary | The Surface synoptic weather observation of the Syowa Staion (SYO) is started in 1957. The observation data is transmitted to each meteorological organization of the world by a meterological report on a real-time basis. In addition, data is released by means of Japan Meteorological Agency website on a quasi-real-time basis. Syowa station is a observatory of the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) Surface Network, and also of Global Basic Observing Network (GBON) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). |
